This course is designed to introduce the nursing student to psychotropic medication. This course is not to be used as a comprehensive source of information on psychotropic medication. This course can be helpful for the nursing student to learn about psychotropic medications. They will be expected to learn about the indication, therapeutic dosages, side effects, and any other potential problems with these medications.
